Guidelines:
- The Manila Summer Safety Institute will last for 15 days starting April 25 to May 13, 2011. Mondays thru Friday from 8am – 5pm.
- To be part of the institute, he/she must enroll / register in at least 2 courses out of the 10 courses being offered.
- Registration is on “a first - come, first - serve basis“.
- Last day of registration is on April 20, 2011.
- FA and BLS training courses should be taken as a major course.
- Venue for the conduct of the Training courses from April 25 – May 13, 2011 is at the Alberto Elementary School.
- Each participant is expected to behave as an adult individual at all time, disciplined is required.
- Participants must bring their MEDICAL CERTIFICATE / ORIGINAL RECEIPT / REGISTRATION FORM on the first day of class for counter checking.
- Participants are not allowed to loiter at the corridor or stay in other rooms other than the rooms reserved for the PRC, mingling with another class while the training is ongoing is prohibited.
- Always maintain cleanliness within the area of responsibility, arrange chairs after every training / practice doing after care.
- Participants should wear prescribed IDs while inside the training venue.
- Certificates of attendance will be issued to those who will complete the required number of hours in each course. This will be distributed on the 57th MSSI graduation ceremonies ( May 23, 2011 – 1:00 PM )
- Take note that instructor’s in each class has his / her own house rules and regulations. Everyone is expected to abide by the rules.
- Hand-outs other than first aid and basic life support training courses can be availed for a reasonable price.

ReplyDeleteI like Basic Water Safety training the most. Though i wasn't able to finish the one mile swim, but i swear I'll try again this April :) And i will succeed :)
ReplyDeletethis would be my 3rd MSSI, i started out as a participant in the Water Safety, the year that came next i was now a facilitator under the Disaster Management Service, this comin MSSI, woohoo! i'd want to instruct thru Disaster Nursing. Man this gonna be FUN! FUN! FUN! again!!! wooohoo
